Transformation
Since working with Underscore, Cutbox is now positioned as one of the UK’s fastest-growing men’s grooming chains, doubling its customer frequency with a haircut subscription model that reached £90k Annual Recurring Revenue within a few months of launching. With a 472% increase in monthly revenue, Cutbox has experienced continued growth and expansion since the rebrand by focusing on reliability and a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Cutbox are the UK’s fastest growing men’s grooming chain that are building a new kind of barber shop experience. They needed help in articulating and celebrating their unique point of difference ahead of implementing an expansion plan to recruit more talent and open in multiple new locations.
Our consultations found that Cutbox are building a new kind of barber by injecting a whole lot of reliability into male grooming with the aim being to bring a one-stop style solution that you can find country wide whenever you need.
We looked into their brand values, their newly digital business practises and of course their core purpose in order to reach their brand story of ‘seriously stylish’ that reflects how the very best barbers in the business can guarantee a perfect cut and premium quality every time.
We then created a bold new brand identity and messaging set to add the finishing touches, because after all – it’s okay to want to look incredible.
