Flying high for the weekend

Today we see the release of a live-action adaptation of Dumbo. What has changed from the original version to this new release? Everything, or almost. Not only have rumours spread about an updated story line, but Tim Burton will have spread his signature magic in every corner of this classic, creating a perfect mix of animation combined with live filming and special effects, which gives life to one of those dreamy, design-expressive realities that we still all remember from Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, don’t we? Besides looking forward to being glued to the screen and savouring every action packed minute we’d like to embrace the core message that Dumbo’s story has been conveying for almost 80 years: believe in yourself.
